This is a full-time on-site role as a Project Manager at Bancare, Inc. located in Arlington Heights, IL. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and following quality standards. You will be responsible for coordinating and communicating with different stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams, to ensure the successful execution of projects.


  • Review and analyze blueprints, specs, proposals, and other construction documents and understand scope of work
  • In early budgeting phase and final/hard bid scenarios, coordinate subcontractor bids, including preparing bid invitations, reviewing incoming bids for scope and pricing, scheduling site visits with subcontractors to review the scope of projects, acquiring best pricing from subcontractors and suppliers, and developing bid presentations
  • Prepare detailed quantity take-offs of construction documents. Input take-offs into a computer spreadsheet
  • Obtain bids from subcontractors. Report any inaccuracies or omissions in quoted items or computer database
  • Create, manage and track RFI’s from the field to the Architect/Engineer of record
  • Maintain and distribute project plans. Maintain/update project records
  • Assist the Project Manager/Superintendent in creating and distributing the project schedule
  • Assist the Project Manager/Owner in getting building permits for the project
  • Assists the project team with site safety documentation and coordination
  • Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret plans/architectural drawings and specifications relative to the scope of work and schedule specified for each project.
  • Creates and distributes meeting minutes
  • Assists the project team with site safety documentation and coordination
  • Creating and distributing project closeout material, O and M manuals to owner once the project is complete
  • Develop and maintain resource information on products, vendors, subcontractors, and other requirements
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Attend departmental meetings and project meetings
  • Coordinate and perform preconstruction tasks working with current & potential clients, architects, and engineers for assigned projects in a manner consistent with Company policy, procedures, and ethical code
  • Prepares project documents, material release schedules, client information, project schedules and other documentation to assure a steady stream of information to the Project Managers.


  • 4-year degree in an accredited construction-related curriculum is preferred or minimum 2 years’ experience in supporting estimating, design-related activities or project management teams
  • Must be able to pass a background check. Bancare is an Alram company, and we require a full background check. No felonies. Must be able to qualify and maintain a Personal Employment Registration Card (PERC)
  • Travel to job sites required. Time of travel is typically 1 to 2 days for estimators. Project Managers should expect to travel once a month and not to exceed more than 5 days at a time.
  • In office 4 days a week
  • Experience with design-build, construction management, and hard bid projects
  • Able to monitor project costs, perform cost analysis, and prepare project reports
  • Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, Teams, MS Project, PlanGrid and Adobe
  • Excellent collaboration, analytical, communication, and time management skills
