The Site Supervisor Associate will be selected with equal emphasis on construction skills, the ability to transfer skills to others and create a team atmosphere of working together. The Site Supervisor Associate will supervise construction activities and will supervise subcontractors and co-workers at the worksite. The Site Supervisor Associate will report daily directly to the assigned Senior Site Supervisor and will be required to work with Project Managers, Site Supervisors and Laborers associated with a specific project. In addition to other responsibilities listed below, this position will be responsible for a high level of communication with fellow employees, clients, customers, sub-contractors and all other parties that this position would interact with daily.
There is a physical element to this position that is closely related to the daily duties and responsibilities. This position walks and stands for long periods of time and may include lifting heavy objects and the performance of strenuous physical labor. This position may require laborer type duties.
A basic construction skill set is required that includes a base knowledge of construction methods, finish work with carpentry, drywall, paint, ceilings and floors as well as basic knowledge of Civil and MEP construction documents. This position requires a high understanding of reading blueprints and communicating the information to all necessary parties. The Site Supervisor Associate will require a positive attitude, willingness to problem solve and perform as a team player.
Requirements
- Site Supervisor Associate is responsible for knowing what work must be done and applying resources to accomplish that work
- All work crews and individuals on site will take direction from the Site Supervisor Associate
- Site Supervisor Associate will assist in planning, implementing and overseeing construction efforts at specific work sites
- All work must be performed within the guidelines and directives of Bancare and Bancare’s clients
- Understands the goals of the program and assist with implementing and completing projects
- Must be able to work diligently, on behalf of Bancare and the client
- Work hours include standard business hours, non-standard business hours (nights, early starts and weekends)
- All employees are subject to a background check and must not have any felonies
- Required to secure a Personal Employment Registration Card associated with the appropriate state(s)
- Must hold a valid driver’s license – will be required to drive company vehicles

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The Site Supervisor Associate will be required to have the following:

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in general construction hands-on construction skills
- Experience in supervising construction projects
- The ability to set priorities and exercise flexibility where necessary

- A basic knowledge of all facets of construction
- A basic understanding of construction methods, finish carpentry, drywall, paint, ceiling, floors as well as basic knowledge of Civil drawings, MEP, roofing, foundations, carpentry and masonry work
- Basic understanding of how to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents
- Understanding of proper safety procedures and recognition of hazards
- Basic understanding and or willingness to learn Microsoft Windows, Excel, and other construction software
- Ability to develop skill set to critically look at craftsmanship
- Ability to organize time, material, and labor
- The ability to multitask
- The ability to assist with supervising numerous crews handling a variety of tasks
- Ability to develop excellent communications
- The position lifts heavy objects, walks and stands for long periods of time and performs strenuous physical labor. Employee must have excellent stamina
